Feed to the saw
The processing of wood in sawmill starts with the log sorting. The processing of which is to sort the logs into suitable diameter and length classes.
Several different implementation options can be selected for the feed of the saw, e.g. for the turning of the logs.
The curved conveyor solution achieves a more reliable level of operation in sawing due to its buffering properties.
The log processing lines are dimensioned to be strong enough to meet the volume required by today’s high-speed sawmills.
With the new saw feed solutions, feed speeds of over 30 logs can be reached.
The log sorting line consists of four main sections: from log table, splitting and dosing, measuring and sorting conveyor.
Pole sorting lines are built according to the same passes.
